ReplyDeleteVirgil Finlay was amazing. I have an issue of Juxtapox from a couple of years ago that details his technique and gives a good overview of his work. In the article it said that he would dip his pen in the ink, place one dot on the paper, wipe the tip clean, and then repeat for the entire picture.
ReplyDeleteMissed Plan 9, but I did catch the TCM premiere of CORRUPTION starring Peter Cushing which looked amazing in widescreen. Time to throw away the crappy old vhs print with commercials... hurrah!
