A mine explosion unleashes an ancient druid terror in today’s nifty Ace double feature story. Nice art here from what looks to me like Lin Streeter moonlighting on inks away from his normal ACG gigs of the time… anyone know for sure? [GCD thinks it's Streeter now. -- Nequam]

GLAD I REMEBERED TO CHECK BACK CUZ OF DOUBLE POST DAYS....THIS ONES EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST AND I LOVED THE FIRST ONE
ReplyDelete"stand still mortal creature there is no escape from the druids!"
ReplyDeletelast panel page 4..... totally want that on a tshirt
Pretty well structured story, didn't care for the art too much, but at least it stuck to the script.the splash kinda ruined the ending, but it's a fairly original idea for this type of story,i love "bring me victims and i'll spare you"-type stories;always predictable, but always fun.
ReplyDeleteHey first time commentor! Looks like Streeter to me too, but I don't believe he ever worked for Ace. Never know though! Great story, I bookmarked you and will check you out everyday now that I know this blog is here! Looks like I have a ton of past posts to catch up on too!
ReplyDeleteI like the art too, especially the single color panel with the druids dancing around the fire. You can't please everyone I guess.
