The Glass Eye causes you to have a lot of sympathy for the "real ventriloquist" at the end, and this version leaves that out.
Also, it only shows both characters sitting in the dressing room and on stage. This version kind of glosses over how "Ventro" is able to get to the restaurant, and run away from the table.Granthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09603892208775996594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-26565664983471854842013-10-31T17:10:04.643-05:002013-10-31T17:10:04.643-05:00A really twisted twist ending would be if at the e...A really twisted twist ending would be if at the end of the story a door opened up in the lady's middle and out popped a female version of the puppet master.

"I knew who and what you were, that's why I wouldn't leave you" would be her reply.

And they both lived hideously ever after... That chick was clearly insane and would have destroyed his life. Who falls madly in love with someone only based picture on a show poster having never seen or heard them in person? And then pursues them from city to city, completely obsessed? Even though that person runs from them when they try and get intimate and, damn, wears a horrific dummy on his hand 24/7 and speaks with it? Clearly only a lunatic would do that.Trevor Mnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-62428760708492275002013-10-31T12:29:10.422-05:002013-10-31T12:29:10.422-05:00Somebody in a position of power needs get Marvel t...Somebody in a position of power needs get Marvel to put these in a Masterwork edition.

One thing I liked about Atlas was they knew not to stretch out a story with a concept like this too much.
