But the Young Men series, which actually started off as a war comic, sorta flopped around aimlessly in search of a theme for a few issues, dabbling in what I suppose was popular that particular month/s (like hot roddin' teens) and then finally settled on giving the Human Torch, Cap, and Namor something to do for 5 issues before folding.Mr. Karswellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15889717828895556186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-67831475257414264412008-02-06T13:43:00.000-06:002008-02-06T13:43:00.000-06:00"GIVE THEM THE BUM'S RUSH, MAHONEY!"This one's pre..."GIVE THEM THE BUM'S RUSH, MAHONEY!"

This one's pretty amusing. You save the DA from rampaging zombies and all you get is his 'thanks'? What's it take to get appointed to a job in this town? :)

I love the nonchalant way they explain the mortician's zombie-lord abilities. "Bein' around the dead so much, I just learned how!" Well, that explains it!

Unlike the "This Magazine is Haunted" stuff, this seems a lot more light hearted and innocent fun. Still great, but not as twisted. :)The Vicar of VHShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06832137990485130735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-47138070465562026262008-02-06T10:37:00.000-06:002008-02-06T10:37:00.000-06:00>Any plans to post the first Rex Lane story from Y...>Any plans to post the first Rex Lane story from Young Men 21?

I would love to, unfortunately I don't have this issue... but of course I'm always accepting submissions too so if anyone has scans please let me know!
