How much thought does it take to preserve continuity for the three pages in between?

One acceptable answer is, of course, that all the genius brains of this story were baking up the gorgeous artwork. I also sense a Wolverton vibe, but I was planning on putting it another way. Everett's ability to use repetitive detail and pattern shading in such a formal way is nearly sublime. The previous story, which I saw in a reprint, made little sense as Venus seemed to be a passive observer, and could have been dropped all together! Which usually is the thing that happens when you transition from one genre to another.Gumbanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-83381860286436462162011-05-03T04:56:10.815-05:002011-05-03T04:56:10.815-05:00Beauty can never be rubbish.Beauty needs no justif...Beauty can never be rubbish.Beauty needs no justification.denhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09013277774104258716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-2721289649333808282011-05-03T03:59:29.405-05:002011-05-03T03:59:29.405-05:00So I'm not alone in getting a Basil Wolverton ...So I'm not alone in getting a Basil Wolverton vibe off the art either.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-38300712261019105372011-05-03T03:05:35.779-05:002011-05-03T03:05:35.779-05:00Utterly nonsensical story.
