It's a good slow burn, not so much an EC ending but increasing dread. It's nice to see stories like that as much as the hero/adventure types and the EC ending types.

Horror stories like to introduce characters you want to see get it, and they introduced a real awful guy for this one!Brian Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15737535617796413548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-49008328958563082322018-02-26T07:35:24.226-06:002018-02-26T07:35:24.226-06:00You don't have to know Poe all that well to se...You don't have to know Poe all that well to see a gritty "urban" version of "William Wilson" in this story. But you don't see it right away (or at least I didn't), so good for it.Granthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09603892208775996594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-11826754511816811152018-02-24T23:18:54.373-06:002018-02-24T23:18:54.373-06:00Some conscience! It was like watching Walter Matthau transform back and forth into Oliver Platt. Actually, I would definitely watch that movie.

Love any panel with radiating anxiety circles, though. So the bottom of page five makes the whole story for me.Mr. Cavinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01634994342702518448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983171239671909762.post-63972509518674531622018-02-24T19:52:07.577-06:002018-02-24T19:52:07.577-06:00I just consulted my conscience.... what he charges...I just consulted my conscience.... what he charges is killin' me.....BTXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12285624914733389197noreply@blogger.com
