The Wolf Man (NEWS)

I’m surely not the only one posting this today but if you haven’t seen it yet then here is your first awesome look at the new Wolf Man played by Benicio Del Toro! If I didn’t know that Rick Baker was responsible for this creation I think I would have figured it out anyway... it's just too amazing for words. For another great pic click HERE!

And for more about the new movie click HERE.

As I've said before, The Wolf Man is the horror movie that made me love horror movies. When I heard there was a remake in the works, I bayed mournfully at the moon...

But then they cast Benicio del Toro, and I had to admit THAT was a great choice. And now this image...wow! They actually make it look a little like the old makeup, too, but updated, which is awesome.

I only hope the script doesn't sink it...against my better judgment, I'm starting to get optimistic...

Fantastic! I was excited to read about this film being made and the casting only increased my interest.

I'm looking forward to seeing the completed film. Now if only Universal would do a Frankenstein treatment that bore some resemblance to the classic Karloff look, no artsy-fartsy reimaginings for me.

Filmed 1930's version only, thank you very much.

Listen in awe, and you'll hear him... Bark at the moon!

This looks great, hopefully the movie will be as good as the makeup!

This is bad ass. This new remake of Teen Wolf looks awesome! I wonder who will play Boof?

Seriously, though--it's great they went for the guy with makeup look. I was getting a little tired of the Van Helsing, Underworld style werewolves. Nice to see we are back to the basics.

Yeah i'm really glad were getting an honest to goodness MONSTER in a monster movie, not some retarded ass CGI thing.i haven't heard anything wild about the script, but it doesn't sound awful.at first i didn't care, because i used to prefer CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF to WOLF MAN,but not after watching them back to back recently for the first time in years(hadn't seen either in 3 good years),makes me a bit reluctant about this remake, but i'll wait and see.

I hadn't seen Curse of the Werewolf until relatively recently (a couple years ago), but I was majorly disappointed in it. Wolf Man, all the way.

I never really got a chance to get tired of them because I hated them too much right off the bat.

Other actors have played the role of a werewolf; but has anyone other that Lon Chaney, Jr ever been the Wolf Man?
