I used to have this one but sold it with most of my collection 2 decades ago when I needed to pay college tuition. It's a very good issue, I've been dying to read Powell's Wall of Flesh again for years.

>Powell's Wall of Flesh

Wild story, I'm posting it on Saturday. But actually the wildest thing about it (as all of you will see) is how out of place it feels in this issue. While the other 3 stories are all really good too Powell's feels like something that should've been in Chamber of Chills. Did I mention how gloriously disgusting it is too?

Thank you so much! This is one of my all-time favorite pre-code horror titles. I would love to see more complete comics, including the covers, whenever your busy schedule permits. Thanks again!

I would love to post more complete comics too, the problem is that it's hard to find many that contain ALL good stories. There always seems to be one or two stinkers in the batch, you know what I mean?

And the reason I don't include cover scans here is because you can always click the GCD or Atlas link that I provide with each post which then takes you to that issues own info page, once there you will find the cover art, writer and artist info, etc...

Thanks for writing in Tony!

An interesting detail: the staircase on the cover of "This Magazine is Haunted #12" has been "swiped" from an illustration by Boris Dolgov, in the March 1947 issue of WEIRD TALES. Dolgov's illustration was for "Mr George," by Stephen Grendon, AKA August Derleth.
