I actually got a copy of Creepy #1 from an ebay seller a couple years ago with the "buy it now" option for $9.99. The photo and description were pretty vague so I imagined it wasn't going to be in the greatest shape when I got it. But it arrived a few weeks later and was in excellent condition. I felt a little bad because I think the seller unknowingly ripped himself off. I felt so bad in fact that I went back and viewed the other items in his ebay store and scored more stuff that was way underpriced. Thanks seller!

This is wonderful news.
I'll most likely not purchase this as it's hardbound and expensive.
BUt it should be a fantastic reprint collection as it presents the material in its original magazine size!

Thanks for the heads up, Karlswell!

Great news,i already mentioned that i bought the first 3 issues last Chrismas on your Warren posts, but it's still a must-get.i have to admit the stories were mostly routine(with some BIG exceptions,of course, and only 2 really shitty stories)but the art was excellent even if it didn't look like the artists normal style, and was still a lot of fun, just not as sophisticated as the later years.

Can't get enough of this stuff. A bit pricey, but I am hopeful that it will be worth it!

>A bit pricey

People are always complaining about the prices on these hardback archive editions, and I agree somewhat, but at the same time there are plenty of places online that sell these brand new for practically half price too, and they're definitely worth that.
