The Blob (CD NEWS)

Now on CD! The Blob (and other creepy sounds) features the complete Ralph Carmichael score from the 1958 movie, plus every film cue, as well as music not heard in the picture. (And yes, the famous Burt Bacharach / Mack David novelty song is included!) The remainder of the CD is packed with superb horror and suspense cues, including pieces used in Green Slime, Brain That Wouldn’t Die, and Terror From the Year 5000--- for a total of 57 tracks!

Yeah, the Black Lagoon disc is excellent. Anyone notice how you can also buy limited edition prints of Stein's conductor score, copied directly from his original hand written sheets? $20 ain't too bad either, would look nice framed up and hanging over the old funeral organ in your parlor.

Thank's for getting that song stuck in my head,if it's not the Blob song,it's the Silver Shamrock jingle or the "murderer" song from BUCKET OF BLOOD,that ever happen to any of you?

Yep, I'm quite familiar with the old "song stuck in the head" routine... in fact having watched the Never Mind The Bollocks documentary three days ago I'm still walking around singing Seventeen. Though in all fairness I've always been a lazy sod...
