It’s that time of year! Yep, time for
Anchor Bay to release yet another version of
Sam Raimi’s original, grueling splatter classic
The Evil Dead '81 (in stores today.) This massive 3-disc special edition appears to contain some nifty new bonus features (don’t they all?), but mostly I like the fact that they’ve gone back to the original poster art for the front cover.

GOOD GRIEF. THEIR MILKING THIS THING MORE THAN LUCAS MILKS THE STAR WARS FRANCHISE. I'M SURE I'LL STILL GET IT THOUGH OR ATLEAST RENT IT TO SEE THE BONUSES.
I've discovered this blog right now...bloody amazing!!!!!
No kidding, I have 3 or 4 versions of this at home on dvd already, and not counting all the video versions!
Still adding it to the shopping cart though.
Evil Dead again?!!? How much more can we beat this dead horse? Also, it doesn't even contain the short film that was said to inspire people to front Raimi the cash to make Evil Dead. I guess we can expect that in the next addition available next month.
>it doesn't even contain the short film

Eh,at least it's not as milked out as that Jesus franchise, thats been goin'on forever...
Can you get it at S-Mart?
You had me at Bruce. Although I have held off on buying "Hatred of a Moment" which I believe is one of Karswell's favorites.
