I'm new to this blog site and I found your blog right off the bat. I love it! I collect old horror comics myself, though I can't afford the original copies. But I have a bunch of EC reprints like Vault of Horror, Tales from the Crypt, and The Haunt of Fear.

Anyway, thanks for being here and having an awesome blog!

Bram would be surprised and hopefully delighted that his literary legacy has helped shaped 20th and now 21st-century culture so dramatically.

>Bram would be surprised

It's so true, especially when you look at his photo and notice how much he looks like your neighbor who can't wait for hunting season to begin.

Happy Birthday to Bram! Wonder what the old boy would make of all the movie adaptations his book inspired?

"Wonder what the old boy would make of all the movie adaptions"---DAMN YOU WES CRAVEN!!!!,AND YOU TOO AL ADAMSON!.y'know even though i read DRACULA,i have to admit his most impressive outing was his story THE JUDGES HOUSE,if ya have rodents,it'll keep you up a longer time than WILLARD.i wonder however, what a DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN'S DAEMON(what the monster is called in the book) book by him and Mary Shelley would have read like.

Eeek! That's the second time today that Wes Craven's name has come up in the comments.

I predict something bad is gonna happen...

An incredible person indeed! Well, judging by his works, anyway.
Thank you, Karswell, for reminding us of Bram and his birthday!
