trailers used to be so fun like this, they almost showed you too much but you still werent annoyed by them like how they are made today there all the same trailer its all whoosh an boom and rapid cuts

And don't forget you have to have a guy walking away from a big fiery explosion in slow motion (with some shitty rap metal riff playing over it), but of course the guy is too cool to turn around and look back at it.
What were the black stamps were for?
Ahhhh,Hammer Studios.the fine british art-house that straddled the fine-line between the Universals and Val Lewtons and Hitchcocks of yesterday,and the Chuckies and Rob Zombies of today.towards the end they may have put out some crap,but it was still great fun,im just sorry we never got to see BENNY HILL MEETS BARON FRANKENSTEIN.

Ha ha, that is too bad. They did come close though with Carry on Screaming and What a Carve Up! THE HORROR OF IT ALL from 1963 (no relation) had some great moments too. And least I forget Steve Coogan's horror series from 2001 called Dr. Terrible's House of Horrible which also had some high points.

Oh how I loved Hammer horror films as a kid. Growing up in New York in the '70s and '80s, they would show them a lot on syndicated TV during weekend afternoons. Nightmare city for a seven-year-old. And I loved every minute of it!
