8 Films To Die For (HORRORFEST '07)

It's back, and just in time to annoyingly miss Halloween again it's HORRORFEST '07. Everything kicks off on Friday Nov 9th and runs until Nov 18th in over 350 theatres across the US. The line-up this year: The Death's of Ian Stone, Nightmare Man, Crazy Eights, Unearthed, Borderland, Mulberry Street, Tooth and Nail, and Lake Dead. The trailers look pretty good, but so did last year's trailers, and we all know how many of those films were actually worth a hoot. (Hint: more than none but less than two.)

I can't reccomend any of them as I haven't seen them yet. But I do sorta reccomend THE ABANDONED from last year's Horrorfest... not too bad.

WHY THE HELL DO THEY DO THIS 2 WEEKS AFTER HALLOWEEN ANYWAY? PROBABLY THE SAME THING YOU WERE SAYING BEFORE ABOUT THE TRICK OR TREAT MOVIE...... THEY PROBABYL DONT WANT TO COMPETE WITH THE HOLLYWOOD HORROR BLOCKBUSTERS

LAME

I've heard alot of good stuff about Mulberry Street too, but yeah last year was real hit or miss. Mostly miss. Dark Ride was the worst!

God(?)willing,we'll have TOWER OF SHADOWS up and running by then,if it's an independent film thing.most independent horror films are like lame(er)episodes of MASTERS OF HORROR,though i can't say my film will be of any high quality.PS.a friend says theyre selling bootleg copies of TRICK R TREAT,anyone hear anything?

I have a friend in LA who saw Mulberry Street and he called it weak. We'll see...

You can easily get bootlegs of just about anything these days it seems, even stuff that hasn't hit the theatres yet. I'm in no rush.

I'm gonna try to see as many of these un-polished turds as I can. I'm a glutton for punishment.

I believe I've seen all 8 of last years films and yeah, one is probably worth a damn, that being The Abandoned. The rest mostly sucked. The Gravedancers was decent, on a purely cheesy level.

I'll probably check out this year's once they're released on DVD. Because I'm always looking for good horror films.

Good idea... though I'm not sure why they wait till after Halloween.

ok this mght be a really stupid question on my part but me and my friend didnt go last year but we were wondering do they show all 8 films in a row or do we have to pay for each one and keep theatre hopping
