The Munsters Color Pilot (VIDEO)

Received a comment from a Munsters fan that was unaware of the original unaired COLOR pilot with a different, sexier lead actress in the Lily role (as Phoebe.) Here’s a clip of the first few minutes including the intro with a different theme song as well, plus Happy Derman as a very vicious looking Eddie! And after all these years you thought Herman was green too!

This is great to see restored and obviously from dvd...... I saw this years ago but on a poor quality video tape no telling how many generations old. Honestly as much as I adore Yvonne I can't understand why they didn't stick with Joan Marshall, she looks gorgeous!!!! I'm glad they went black and white though and not color

GLAD THEY REPLACED HAPPY DERMAN TOO, HE LOOKS MORE LIKE A RAT THAN A WOLFKID.

Black and white suits the overall classic Universal horror vibe better too. It's funny because the color version reminds me of Hammer.

I have to admit,i love Yvonne, but this gal's pretty good herself!,i could see Dracula having her for a daughter,if Grandpa IS the real Dracula,i only saw them attack someone once, but it was in that stupid movie.

Ha ha... yeah, Munster Go Home is pretty bad. They should have taken the advice of the movie title and gone home.
